MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers knocked off the LA Dodgers 5-4 in 11 innings on Tuesday night at American Family Field.
Victor Caratini delivered a two-run single in the 11th that gave the Brewers the win.
After LA had taken a 4-3 lead in the top of the inning, Hunter Renfroe dropped down a bunt single which put runners at the corners. Luis Urias walked to load the bases and Caratini blooped one into right that won the ballgame.
The Brewers got home runs earlier from Willy Adames (23) and Christian Yelich (9). For Yelich that broke an 0-26 slump.
Milwaukee used seven pitchers in the game with Brent Suter getting the win in relief of Brandon Woodruff.
Milwaukee remains two games behind St. Louis as the Cardinals won as well on Tuesday. The Brewers play the Dodgers again tonight….pre game show at 6:35 on WSAU.
