The man who killed Hannah Miller of Rhinelander will be sentenced in Oneida County court on Tuesday.
Christopher Anderson will get life in prison for shooting Miller in June of 2021 but may be eligible to apply for parole after a period of 30-40 years as part of a plea deal that was reached earlier this month.
Anderson changed his plea to Guilty just days before his trial was supposed to begin.
Anderson and Miller had been in a relationship that friends and family described as abusive, and did have a child together as well. Following Miller’s death, Anderson led police on a multi-state manhunt across the midwest. He was ultimately arrested in suburban Chicago.
Sentencing will begin at 1:30.
