FRIENDSHIP, WI (WSAU) — There were three fatalities after a traffic crash in Adams County on Monday afternoon.
The accident happened at the intersection of County Hwy Z and State Highway 21 near Friendship around 3:35pm.
According to a report from the Wisconsin State Patrol, a Jeep Cherokee driven by a 74 year old man from Lindenhurst Illinois pulled out from the stop sign onto Hwy 21. A semi driven by a 37 year old man from Davie Florida was traveling at full speed and could not stop and struck the Jeep before overturning in a ditch.
The Jeep driver and his passenger, a 68 year old female from Lindenhurst Illinois were both killed. The semi driver also died. All identities are being withheld pending notification of relatives.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating and reconstructing the crash.
