TOWN OF PELICAN, WI (WSAU) – The Al Gen Supper Club was damaged by fire on Friday.
Firefighters were called around 8pm to the popular club in the Town of Pelican.
Flames were coming through the roof when first responders arrived. The fire started in the kitchen. Fire crews were able to keep it from spreading into the public areas of the club.
The kitchen was heavily damaged. So was the roof above it.
Employees tried to put out the fire before firefighters arrived. There were no injuries.
Town of Pelican Fire and Rescue was first on the scene, and were able to enter the structure and extinguish the fire. They were assisted by the Rhinelander Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
