Another of Wausau Events’ popular gatherings is on tap for Saturday as Beer and Bacon fest returns to Fern Island Park from 1 to 4 PM Saturday.
The event offers beer sampling from numerous Wisconsin breweries including New Glarus, 3 Sheeps, Titletown, Hinterland, and Wausau’s own Bull Falls. Minnesota favorite Surly is also scheduled to appear.
Both local and chain restaurants will be serving up samples of bacon as well.
Tickets will be available at the gate for $45 for those partaking in the beer samples and $20 for designated drivers, who will be offered water or soda to go with the bacon. Everyone will get to enjoy live music as well.
Tickets can be purchased online until 10 AM Saturday. After then all ticket sales will be conducted at the gate via cash or credit/debit card. An extra fee will apply for all card transactions on site.
Wausau Events will not run shuttles for this event, meaning those who attend are encouraged to park in any of the downtown lots located along River Drive or in the Oak Island lot. Parking at Fern Island is reserved for handicapped access.
