MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The 3rd ranked Wisconsin women’s hockey team began the season with a 4-1 loss at Penn State on Thursday night.
Casey O’Brien had the lone Badger goal.
It was only the 3rd win ever for the Nittany Lions over the Badgers. The two teams play again tonight.
The Wisconsin womens soccer team beat Purdue 5-2 on Thursday night in West Lafayette.
Natalie Viggiano and Aryssa Mahrt both had two goals for Bucky. Emma Jaskanic also scored.
The Badgers will host Indiana this Sunday.
