Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialist Dr. Pierre Kory joined me on Feedback to discuss California’s War on Doctors. California’s Legislature just passed a bill titled “AB 2098” which calls for the state’s medical board to revoke the license of any physician who expresses an opinion “contradicted by contemporary scientific consensus to the standard of care.”
Dr. Kory stated that to pretend there is a “scientific consensus” on a new disease (covid-19) and a new gene therapy (poison shots) is “absurd.” Throughout history, those in medicine have constantly increased their knowledge and one of the core responsibilities of a physician is not just to care for a patient as their “primary consideration” but also to “add knowledge to the discipline and to teach it to others.”
In a recently published op-ed that Dr. Kory wrote with Senator Ron Johnson, he states: “Here is another responsibility articulated in the Hippocratic Oath written around the 4th century BC: Neither will I administer a poison to anybody when asked to do so, nor will I suggest such a course. Hippocrates was warning us twenty-four centuries ago about the situation of being asked to administer poisons.”
In asking why we’re displacing the time-honored protections of medical malpractice – where the consequences of harming a patient were borne by the physician if they adopted an idea or practice which hurt a patient, Dr. Kory stated that medical malpractice has “kept doctors in line for decades.” But now in 2022, in honoring the Hippocratic Oath by treating patients with all available therapies and acknowledging natural immunity, his opinion would be silenced. If California’s destructive legislation spreads to other states, the ability to treat, cure and save the lives of patients would be forfeited and the license to practice revoked because of a doctor’s opinion.
“This is an obscenity. This would disappear care practices that would help patients far more frequently than it would care practices that harm patients,” Kory said.
California’s AB 2098 will lead to even more morbidity and mortality, not only in covid, but in other diseases as well. “Big Pharma already controls the medical journals and Federal Health agencies,” Dr. Kory asserted.
Thankfully, they don’t control independent-minded, critical thinkers like Dr. Pierre Kory and Senator Ron Johnson.
