MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers got a couple of home runs and solid pitching in a 3-0 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night at American Family Field.
Luis Urias and Garrett Mitchell went deep for Milwaukee.
The Diamondbacks only managed one hit in the game. That came against reliever Jake Cousins in the 7th inning. Eric Lauer pitched six hitless, scoreless innings with 7Ks. Peter Strzelecki pitched the ninth for his first major league save.
Lauer went 11-7 on the season and set new career highs in wins, innings pitched and strikeouts.
The two teams finish their seasons with a day game today. Corbin Burnes will be on the mound for Milwaukee…pre game show at 2:30 on WSAU.
