GREEN BAY, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — Green Bay is adding to their defensive depth. The team signed linebacker Eric Wilson from the Saints’ practice squad yesterday.
The 28-year-old played for the Eagles and Texans last season where he recorded 46 tackles. He joins the 53-man roster ahead of the team’s Week Five matchup against the Giants in London.
The Packers are also continuing to look for solutions to their offensive line struggles. Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson said the team hosted five linemen for tryouts yesterday.
Two of which were Jean Delance and Bam Olaseni, who were brought in for visits before the 2022 draft. Former Wisconsin Badger Beau Benzschawel was also among the group.
