Boys & Girls Club
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Boy’s and Girl’s Club of the Wausau Area has selected Kim Larsen as their new CEO.
Larsen has been serving the club since 2001, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer. The search committee noted her rise through the ranks in the club along with her organizational management and leadership skills as reasons for the selection.
“Kim is the right person to lead the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area and to serve our community,” said Board President Candy Thurs. “Kim possesses the qualities, experience, expertise, leadership and vision to carry forward the growth trajectory and impact the Club has on our communities.”
Larsen replaces Matt Jameson, who will be leaving to pursue another opportunity later this year. The two will work closely over the next few weeks to allow for a smooth transition.
