MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Eight different Wisconsin players scored goals as the Badger womens hockey team blitzed Bemidji State 8-0 Thursday night at LaBahn Arena.
Vivian Jungels scored her first ever goal just 1:40 into the first period. The other goals went to Sophie Shirley, Lacey Eden, Britta Curl, Sara Wozniewicz, Kirsten Simms, Claire Enright and Marianne Picard.
Cami Kronish had 10 saves in the shutout.
The Badgers, now 8-1, 5-0 in WCHA, host the Beavers again tonight.
The Wisconsin mens hockey team play at Minnesota-Duluth tonight…pre game show at 6:30 on WSAU.
