WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce and Wisconsin Institute of Public Policy will host a candidate forum for local and state candidates ahead of the November 8th mid-term election.
Those scheduled to appear include 7th Congressional District candidates Tom Tiffany (R-Incumbent) and Richard Ausman (D).
Candidates for the 85th Assembly seat Pat Snyder (R-Incumbent) and Kristen Conway (D) and 29th State Senate candidates Bob Look (D) and Cory Tomczyk (R) are also slated to appear.
Republican Senator Ron Johnson, who faces Mandela Barnes for a six-year term in Washington, has also agreed to appear.
The forum is scheduled to run from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the UWSP-Wausau Center For Civic Engagement. Doors will open at 4:30.
