TOWN OF ROME, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Alcohol and speed were factors in a car versus house crash that occurred in the Town of Rome Saturday.
WAOW TV reports that police were called to the home on 14th Drive just before 3 AM. Officers found a vehicle with significant front-end damage along with damage to the front steps of the house.
No one inside the home was injured. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 26-year-old Colton J. Bentz of Nekoosa, also survived without injury.
A basketball hoop in the driveway of the home was also damaged along with the front steps.
