MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks continued their extended home stand to start the season with a 110-108 win over the Detroit Pistons on Monday night at Fiserv Forum.
The Bucks let the Pistons hang around in the game because they were once again ice cold from 3 pt range, at one point missing 14 long balls in the second half. They ended the game 11-40 from behind the arc.
Jrue Holiday was 5-11 from distance and finished with 25 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists. He hit a three pointer with 45 seconds left that made the score 108-105.
Giannis had 31 points and seven rebounds. Brook Lopez had 24 points and nine boards while Bobby Portis came off the bench with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Grayson Allen left the game in the 3rd quarter with a knee bruise and didn’t return.
The Bucks are 6-0 to start the season for the 3rd time in team history. They did it in 1971-72 and also on 2018-19. They host Detroit again on Wednesday.
