If we’ve told you once, we’ve told you hundreds of times in the last few months.
Polls open Tuesday for the mid-term election in Wisconsin at 7 AM and will remain open until 8 PM, meaning if you are in line at 8 PM you should stay there, you will receive a ballot.
Before you head out you’re encouraged to check the status of your voter registration using the myvote.wi.gov website, which will give you the address for your polling place and give you a sample ballot as well.
Then as you head out don’t forget to bring your appropriate photo ID with you, as it is required to get your ballot.
You can also register to vote at the polls on Tuesday if need be. Again, be sure to bring a photo ID.
For those that have a completed absentee ballot, they’d like to turn it in on election day, consult with your local clerk before heading out. Some areas utilize a central counting location for absentee ballots, meaning they will need to be dropped off at that central location.
