OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks were without Giannis and Jrue Holiday on Wednesday night but were still able to outlast the Oklahoma City Thunder 136-132 in double overtime.
Giannis continues to battle knee soreness and Holiday twisted his ankle in Monday’s game.
That gave some opportunities to different guys and they stepped up. Jevon Carter led Milwaukee with 36 points. Brook Lopez played over 45 minutes and had 24 points and 13 rebounds.
Rookie Marjon Beauchamp got his first start and had 19 points and eight boards. Grayson Allen had 18, Bobby Portis 13 and George Hill had 12 off the bench.
The Bucks were 17-36 from three point range in the game. Carter and Beauchamp knocked down five each.
The Bucks, now 10-1, will play at San Antonio on Friday night.
