MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks were without Giannis and Jrue Holiday for a second straight game and also lost Grayson Allen as a late scratch with an illness and fell to the San Antonio Spurs 111-93 on Friday night in Texas.
It was the 3rd game of a road trip and many of the players had gone big minutes in the double OT win over the OK City Thunder on Wednesday. They ran out of gas in this one.
The Bucks were down by 21 in the 3rd quarter but cut the deficit to seven late in the 3rd. They then missed six straight shots and had a couple of turnovers to never challenge again.
Jevon Carter had 21 points and Brook Lopez added 19. Bobby Portis had another double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The Bucks, now 10-2, will host Atlanta on Monday.
