TOWN OF LANARK, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Authorities in Portage County are looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash in the Town of Lanark on Saturday.
WAOW TV reports that the incident occurred near the intersection of Highway 54 and County Road TT. According to the victim he was hit by a car, who then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a Wausau hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Officers believe the vehicle is a late 2000s model Lexus RX330. The vehicle will likely have damage to the front passenger side and a broken headlamp assembly.
Anyone who may have information regarding the vehicle or who was driving it is asked to call the Portage County Sheriff’s Office at 715-346-1400.
