MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin womens basketball team won their home opener with a 77-54 win over North Florida Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center.
Freshman Serah Williams had a double-double with 15 points, 13 rebounds , three blocks and two assists.
Maty Wilke had 15 points along with three rebounds, two assists and three steals.
The Badgers, now 2-1, will host Bradley on Wednesday.
The #3 ranked Wisconsin volleyball team swept Maryland on Saturday night at the Fieldhouse. The scores were 25-22, 25-15 and 25-18. They ahve won 14 straight matches.
Sarah Franklin, Danielle Hart and Julia Orzol had 10 kills each. Izzy Ashburn had 20 assists and MJ Hammill added 15. Gulce Guctekin led all players with 12 digs.
The Badgers, now 21-3, 15-1 in Big Ten, will play at Rutgers on Friday and at Penn State on Saturday.
