MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Atlanta Hawks beat the Milwaukee Bucks for the second time this season with a 121-106 thrashing Monday night at Fiserv Forum.
Giannis returned after missing three of the last four games and not playing since Nov 7. He was rusty going 8-21 from the field and 11-18 from the foul line for 27 points along with eight rebounds. He rolled his ankle in the game but got back up and played until he fouled out late having played 31 minutes.
Rookie Marjon Beauchamp continued his good play with 20 points and eight boards. Bobby Portis had another double-double off the bench with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Bucks were ice-cold from three-point range again going just 6-29 (20.7%).
They also lost Grayson Allen and Wesley Matthews to injuries. Allen sprained his ankle in the first half and Matthews was a late scratch with hamstring soreness.
Milwaukee, now 10-3, is back in action Wednesday night hosting Cleveland.
