GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers made some roster moves Tuesday ahead of their Thursday night matchup with Tennessee at Lambeau Field.
The Packers released WR Amari Rodgers and RB Kylin Hill. Both had been drafted in 2021.
Rodgers had struggled as a punt returner with five fumbles this season and seven in his short career. He also struggled to get on the field as a receiver. Keisean Nixon is expected to handle punt return duties.
Hill had been injured for much of his short Packer career. He had just come off the PUP list this month and played little in the last two games.
The Packers activated RB Patrick Taylor from the practice squad. Randall Cobb may be activated for Thursday’s game.
The Packers also signed WR Dede Westbrook and LB Tim Ward to the practice squad.
