MAYVILLE TOWNSHIP, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A Medford woman died and two others were seriously injured after a rollover crash Monday in Clark County.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Department says the vehicle went off Highway 13 in Mayville Township near Water Road at around 3 PM Monday.
The SUV was traveling northbound when the driver lost control on a bridge while trying to pass a slow-moving tanker truck. The SUV went into the ditch, went over a driveway, and hit a tree. It partially overturned during the crash, coming to rest on its side.
The driver and a female passenger were transported to Marshfield Medical Center. Another passenger died at the scene. Their name hasn’t been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
