STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Stevens Point Mayor Mike Wiza has announced that beginning today all city busses will operate free of charge on Fridays.
“Come downtown and enjoy some of the shop small opportunities we have here, or cruise out to Crossroad Commons,” said Wiza in a Facebook video.
He adds that the goal is to provide easy access to local shopping opportunities during the holiday season.
Free rides will be offered each Friday between now and December 23rd.
