Wausau Woodchucks
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau Woodchucks announced Brock Moss as their new field manager for the 2023 season.
Moss replaces Corey Thompson.
Moss is the current head baseball coach at Eastern Oklahoma State College. He has also coached at Coastal Alabama East CC and has summer college coaching experience with the Brazos Valley Bombers of the Texas Collegiate League.
Woodchucks GM Ryan Treu said in a press release, “We are excited to welcome Brock and his family to Wausau this summer. When searching for a new field manager it was important to the organization to find a coach who has the ability to recruit players at a high level. Brock has demonstrated that ability everywhere he has coached”.
The Woodchucks are part of the Northwoods League and play their games at Wausau’s Athletic Park June-August.
