The Chad Billeb era in the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office is underway.
Billeb will be sworn in Tuesday at 10 AM in Circuit Court Branch 1 at the Marathon County Courthouse. He has been Chief Deputy for the county since 2013 and has been with the department since 1999.
All told his law enforcement career spans 30 years.
Billeb officially took over for Scott Parks on Monday. Parks, who served as Sheriff for the last ten years, chose not to run for re-election last November. Billeb was unopposed on the ballot.
WSAU News will be at today’s ceremony and will have more with Billeb later today both on air and online.
