WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A Weston man accused of sexually assaulting a child was in Marathon County court Thursday.
Shawn Wilde, 23, is accused of taking at least two children from into the basement of a Weston daycare where he worked. One of the alleged victims, a 10-year-old girl, told her mother that Wilde played a “game” where they were covered with a blanket and were touched inappropriately. She also claimed that he took videos and photos of them.
Court records now show Wilde is now facing additional charges, including sexual exploitation of a child, possession of child pornography, and five counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child. The judge postponed a decision on whether Wilde’s $100,000 bond would change. He’ll be back in court on January 12th.
