MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin men’s hockey team picked up just their second conference win of the season in a 2-0 decision against Notre Dame on Friday at the Kohl Center.
Tyson Jugnauth and Corson Ceulemans provided the scoring for Wisconsin, with Jugenauth’s goal coming off a power play early in the second period. Ceulemans added the insurance tally late in the frame.
Jared Moe stopped all 27 shots he faced from the Irish.
Wisconsin improves to 9-12 on the season and 2-9 in Big Ten play. Notre Dame ranked in the top 20 in both major Division I men’s hockey polls, drops to 9-10-2 overall and 4-6-1 in the league.
The same two teams will skate again this evening at the Kohl Center.
