Elier Bravo De Leon
STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A judge ruled Monday that there’s enough evidence for a Stevens Point man to stand trial in a violent home invasion case.
Elier Bravo DeLeon, 20, is accused of breaking into a neighbor’s home on Minnesota Avenue and assaulting a mother and a 7-year-old child inside.
DeLeon is charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of battery, two counts of mayhem, and one count of burglary. He’s being held on a $5 million bond and will enter a plea in Portage County Court later this month.
The female victim said she woke up on December 19th to a man holding a knife over her. She was stabbed when she tried to fight back. Her daughter was also stabbed.
The woman told police she thought someone had been entering her home while she was away so she installed security cameras. Doorbell camera footage from the scene shows the suspect, covered in blood, leaving the home.
