Wisconsin Badgers
(MADISON, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — Wisconsin is landing an offensive lineman through the transfer portal.
Jake Renfro announced yesterday he’s joining the Badgers after spending last season with Cincinnati. The six-foot-three, 310-pound lineman is expected to play center for Wisconsin.
The team recently brought in defensive lineman Darian Varner through a transfer last week. New head coach Luke Fickell now has six transfers this offseason.
The Wisconsin womens basketball team won their first Big Ten game of the season with an 81-77 win on Sunday afternoon.
Julie Pospisilova and Avery LaBarbera and 20 point and seven rebounds each to pace the Badgers. Brooke Schramek had 14 points and eight rebounds.
The Badgers, now 5-11, 1-4 in Big Ten, will play Wednesday at Michigan State.
