STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The City of Stevens Point has announced the headliners for the 2023 Riverfront Rendezvous festival in Pfiffner Pioneer Park.
The 39th festival will begin Friday, June 30th with jazz and swing artist Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The nine-piece group has been featured on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and performed as part of the festivities for Super Bowl XXXIII in Miami.
On Saturday, July 1st the headliner will be The Hype, an 80s rock cover band. The show closes on Sunday with Adam Greuel and the Space Burritos.
Additional performers will be announced in the coming months.
Fireworks are scheduled for the evening of July 2nd along the Wisconsin River.
More information on the plans for the 2023 event can be found at www.riverfrontrendezvous.com. This year’s event is expected to draw a large crowd, as it’s also being held at the same time as the 2023 USGA Senior Open Championship at SentryWorld.
