MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks got a big day from their Starting Five in a 132-119 win over Indiana on Monday at Fiserv Forum.
Four of the Bucks’ first five scored at least 17 points led by double-doubles from Jrue Holiday (35 points, 11 assists, four rebounds) and Bobby Portis (21 points, 11 rebounds). Brook Lopez added 19 points and six boards, and Grayson Allen added 17 points and four assists.
The fifth starter, Pat Connaughton, poured in eight points and eight rebounds. Jordan Nwora scored 14 points off the bench.
Milwaukee scored a season-high 23 three-pointers in the win.
The Bucks trailed by as many as 13 points in the game but fought back to send the game to a wild fourth quarter which featured numerous lead changes before Nwora nailed a three with 7:00 remaining that put the Bucks in front for good.
Giannis Antetokounmpo sat out for a third consecutive game with knee soreness. Serge Ibaka and Khris Middleton also sat out.
Milwaukee is now 2816 on the season and 4.5 games behind Boston for the best record in the Eastern Conference. They stay home on Tuesday to host the Toronto Raptors before a three-day break.
