WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau Police Department is asking for information regarding a suspect connected with the theft of Menard’s rebate checks.
Officers say a rebate of $494 was stolen from a Wausau mailbox last fall, and later cashed in at the store in Rhinelander.
On Thursday the Wausau Police Department released a surveillance image of the suspect, asking anyone who could identify him to come forward with tips. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Wausau PD directly at 715-261-7800 or by sending them a message on Facebook. Tips may also be submitted to Marathon County Crimestoppers or through the P3 app for smartphones and tablets.
