WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Administrators at the Wausau School District have confirmed that they are investigating an incident involving members of the West High School Boy’s Basketball coaching staff.
According to the district the incident involved alcohol use but did not involve or impact students.
The coaches involved did not participate in practice on Monday. District officials add that four members of the current coaching staff will handle the duties for the remainder of the season.
Names of those involved in the incident have not been released nor have specifics regarding the incident. District officials ad that the incident is a personnel matter, meaning they cannot comment further at this time.
