LINCOLN, NE (WSAU) – Wisconsin managed just 2 points in overtime in a 73-63 road loss at Nebraska.
A Chucky Hepburn jump shot with 2-minutes remaining would tie the game at 61-61, with neither team scoring down the stretch. Wisconsin failed to hold a double-digit lead from early in the second half.
In the middle of the second half Nebraska went on a 17-2 run. The Badgers shot just 33-percent after halftime.
Hepburn scored a team-high 19 points. Connor Essegian had 13. Max Klesmit added 12.
The Badgers are now 14-10 overall and 6-8 in Big Ten play.
Wisconsin returns home to host Michigan on Tuesday. Game coverage begins at 7pm CT on WSAU.
