
Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey team upset #1 Minnesota 3-1 on Saturday.
The Badgers trailed 1-0, before tying the game with Cruz Lucius goal before the first intermission.
The Badgers tallied two more goals in the second period, including a goal and an assist for Carson Bantle. Daniel Laatsch tallied his first goal of the season.
Wisconsin goalie Kyle McClellan had 32 saves.
It was Wisconsin’s biggest win of the hockey season in front of a season-high crowd of 11,000 at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers are now 11-19-0 on the season and 4-16-0 in Big Ten play.
