GLENDALE, AZ (MetroSource-WSAU) — The Kansas City Chiefs are once again champions. The Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl 57 from Glendale, Arizona.
KC erased a 24-14 halftime deficit as Harrison Butker nailed the 24-yard game winning field goal with just eight seconds left in the game.
Patrick Mahomes threw for 182 yards, three touchdowns and rushed for 44 yards including a key 26-yard scramble to set up the game-winning kick. It’s the second time in four years the Chiefs have won the Super Bowl. Mahomes was named Super Bowl MVP for the second time in his career.
Jalen Hurts threw for 304 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles quarterback also tied a Super Bowl record with three rushing touchdowns.
