WDEZ Radiothon Raises Nearly $200,000 for St. Jude

WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The totals are in, and once again Central Wisconsin stepped up big for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.

The 2023 Country Cares for Kids Radiothon raised $196,900 for the hospital over two days. That includes one-time donations, matching funds, and those who chose to make monthly donations as a Partner in Hope.

The event closed at 6 PM Friday, ending 24 hours in two days in which the entire WDEZ staff spent time telling stories of those impacted by St. Jude including those from Central Wisconsin.

This was WDEZ’s 22nd annual fundraiser for St. Jude.
