WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Local communities in Central Wisconsin have declared snow emergencies before this week’s winter storms.
Any vehicle left parked along a municipal street is subject to being ticketed and towed during a snow emergency. Residents are asked to keep their vehicles off the streets in order to allow crews to clear them
- City of Stevens Point: from 2 AM Wednesday through noon Friday
- Village of Weston and City of Schofield: from noon Wednesday through noon Friday
- City of Mosinee: from 9 AM Wednesday through 9 AM Friday
- City of Wausau: from noon Wednesday through noon Friday
- City of Marshfield: from 2 AM Wednesday through noon Friday
- City of Nekoosa: from 3 AM Wednesday through noon Friday
- Village of Plover: from 6 PM Tuesday through 3 PM Friday
Additionally, the Marshfield luminary hike scheduled for tonight in Weber Park has also been canceled.
The D.C. Everest School Board has also announced that their meeting for Wednesday will be conducted entirely over Zoom instead of in person.
