Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Badgers, leading by one at halftime, pulled away from Iowa in the second half for a 60-49 win on Wednesday night.
Connor Essegian had 17 points. Tyle Wahl contributed a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Chucky Hepburn had 12.
The Badgers shot 52-percent from the floor, but struggled from 3-point range.
The Badgers have swept both their meetings with the Hawkeyes this season, having won in OT in Iowa earlier this year.
Wisconsin improves to 16-11 overall and 8-9 in Big Ten games.
The Badgers play Michigan on Sunday at 1pm CT.
