WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A 2-1 win over Lakeland on Saturday has propelled the Mosinee high school hockey team to the WIAA State Tournament for the first time since 2008.
Mosinee will be the only Central Wisconsin team competing for a state title this week at the Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton.
They are the #2 seed and will play a D-2 semi-final vs Oregon at 12:15 pm on Thursday.
