WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – Tyler Kramer has been appointed as the new Head Varsity Coach for the Wausau East Varsity Football Team, according to a press release made by the school.
“As a former player and coach at Wausau East, I’m excited and honored to lead a program that I have been a part of over the past ten years. We have a strong group of players and are excited to play competitive 11-man football at all levels again. These players are dedicated and eager for the opportunity presented to us,” Kramer said.
Kramer, a Wausau East High School alumnus, has been coaching with the program since 2018, serving in a variety of roles, including interim coach last year. Kramer was also a Lumberjacks player from 2012 to 2016.
The team is scheduled to kick off their season on August 18th at Lakeland Union.
