MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team dropped a 63-61 decision to 5th ranked Purdue on Thursday night at the Kohl Center.
Max Klesmit led the Badgers with 19 points, 17 of those in the second half. Chucky Hepburn had 13.
Wisconsin, now 16-13, 8-11 in the Big Ten, will finish the regular season on Sunday night at Minnesota.
The Wisconsin womens basketball team also lost to Purdue by two, 57-55 in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament in Minneapolis.
Maty Wilke gave the Badgers the lead with 10 seconds left but Jayla Smith hit a game winning three pointer for the Boilermakers.
Wilke and Julie Pospisilova led Wisconsin with 17 points each.
