Wisconsin Badgers
CHICAGO, IL (WSAU) – The Badgers lost their opening round game in the Big Ten tournament to Ohio State, 65-57.
Wisconsin trailed by as many as 27 points, then tried to rally in the second half. They went on a 19-2 run, and held the Buckeyes scoreless for more than 6-minutes. They got within 5 before falling on opening night.
Tyler Wahl ed the Badgers with 19 points. Connot Essegian, who was named to the conference all-freshman team earlier this week, added 11.
Ohio State was led by Sean McNeil, who had 17 points.
