WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A 42-year-old Central Wisconsin man has pled no contest to one count related to the sexual assault of a teenage girl.
Joshua Wells was in a Marathon County courtroom on Monday to enter the plea. In exchange, more than a dozen other counts against him have been dismissed but read in. That list includes numerous felony counts of bail jumping.
A presentence investigation will be conducted over the next 60 days. Judge Scott Corbett has scheduled a two-hour sentencing hearing for June 30th.
Wells had previously pled not guilty to the charges, which cover a half-dozen cases.
