WESTON, WI (WSAU) – Weston’s Board of Trustees met on Thursday to discuss the plan to raise wages for village staff.
Over the last three years, the board has not approved any wage increases. On March 20th, the Board of Trustees approved one-time bonuses for specific positions such as Street Forman and Utility Senior Operator, as recommended by the Human Resources Committee back on March 6th.
The village is currently conducting a pay study to gather more information on what the wages for the positions should be.
Discussions on this topic are expected to continue at the board’s next meeting on April 17th.
