GREENWOOD, WI (WSAU) – A former Greenwood High School support staff member who was found guilty of having a sexual relationship with a student has been sentenced to 9 months in prison and 3 years probation.
Dylan North, 26, was sentenced in Clark County Circuit Court on Wednesday.
North pleaded no contest to sex assault by school staff in January and was found guilty as a result. A count of sex assault by school personnel, child enticement, and exposing a child to harmful material were dismissed, but will be considered during his sentencing hearing.
On October 21, 2021, Greenwood police were notified of a possible inappropriate relationship.
Court documents stated there were two victims. According to investigators, a forensic examination of North’s phone revealed messages and call time stamps that were used as evidence. North was on paid leave until November 2021. He started working for the district back in 2019 and stepped down at the end of January 2022.
