BLAIR, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Douglas Stegerwald, 59, of Arcadia, was arrested on Sunday for threatening several people with a pistol, including some under the age of 18.
According to a press release from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, they received a report Saturday night of an intoxicated man pointing a gun at people at 144 W. Mill Road in Blair. He was able to flee before police arrived at the scene.
Stegerwald was apprehended by police and charged with 5 counts of recklessly endangering safety. They searched his house and found a pistol that fit the description of the incident.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office says this is an isolated incident, and the names of the victims will not be released at this time.
