MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Brewers announced that outfielder Garrett Mitchell has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left shoulder subluxation.
Mitchell will get an MRI tomorrow and will be assessed when the team returns home by team doctors. Craig Counsell believes that an MRI will provide a more accurate timeline for when he will return.
MLB.com reporter Adam McCalvy reports that Mitchell was in the team clubhouse today with his left arm in a sling.
Outfielder Blake Perkins has been brought up from Triple A Nashville to replace him on the active roster.
