GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – With only eight days until the 2023 NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers hosted Kansas State edge rusher Felix Anudike-Uzomah during an official top-30 visit, according to Bill Huber of SI.com.
Anudike-Uzomah, the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2022, shared a video on his official Instagram page on Tuesday during his visit to Green Bay.
Over 33 games (27 starts) and three seasons at Kansas State, Anudike-Uzomah (6-2, 255) has 20.5 sacks, 26.5 tackles for loss, and eight forced fumbles. He was named All-Big 12 in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons, as well as an All-American in 2022.
Anudike-Uzomah was unable to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine due to a foot issue.
The Athletic’s Dane Brugler ranks Anudike-Uzomah as the seventh-best edge rusher in the class and the 44th-best player overall.
The Green Bay Packers also hosted an official top-30 visit to SMU wide receiver Rashee Rice on Tuesday.
Over 44 games and 33 starts at SMU, Rice (6-1, 204) caught 233 catches for 3,111 yards and 25 touchdowns. He was an All-AAC pick twice and a 2022 All-American.
Rice played in the 2023 Senior Bowl. In terms of size, athleticism, and production at the wide receiver position, he checks all the boxes for the Packers.
Other significant visits and virtual meetings this week were Iowa tight end Sam LaPorta, Illinois safety Quan Martin, Furman wide receiver Ryan Miller, and UAB offensive tackle Kadeem Telfort.
