WATCH: Bobcat Recovered From Portage County Vehicle

STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Yes, you read that headline correctly.

Portage County Sheriff Mike Lucas says three of his deputies recently teamed up with a Conservation Warden to free a bobcat from behind the grill of a vehicle.

They managed to get pull the animal out and quickly flip it into the covered bed of a pickup. The bobcat was then released back into the wild.

Lucas didn’t say when the incident occurred. It remains unclear how the bobcat got into the body of the car.
